A: We are an Owens Corning Preferred contractor and use Owens Corning products whenever possible.



Q: How long does replacing a roof typically take?
A: Typical roof replacement takes one to three days.



Q: Do we have to be out of the house when you are replacing the roof?
A: No, we typically work during the day while the customer is at work. This is not necessary, but it can be loud to have a crew on your roof.



Q: How do you calculate the amount of shingles I will need for my roof?
A: This is done by the square foot of your roof. We will either hand measure your home or use a satellite measuring service to get this information



Q: Why is there discoloring in my roof?
A: This is typically an algae and there are services for its removal. We use algae resistant shingle when replacing.



Q: What kind of ventilation can I use on my roof?
A: Ventilation is based on an individual house basis and will be chosen after inspection. We typically use ridge or box vents, but power vent can be used.



Q: My home was damaged by hail, what is the turn time to fix this?
A: This process will involve your insurance company and an adjuster. Typical time frame is 1 to 3 months. All leaks will be sealed until this process can be completed.



Q: I got my check from the insurance adjuster for hail damage, now what?
A: You will need to get your roof replaced and use the check to pay for it. There is typically another check for the remaining balance of depreciation issued upon the contractors completion of the repairs. We work with insurance companies daily and are happy to assist the homeowner with this process.
